A power supply contract under FIP scheme with Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions

Through an SPC in which we invest, we entered into a power supply contract with Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions under the FIP (Feed-in Premium) scheme with regard to the solar power plant we co-developed with CO2O. We will continue to acquire and operate solar power plants under the FIP scheme to contribute to carbon neutrality.
Highlights
This is a power supply contract that uses the FIP scheme which started in April 2022 in Japan. It is also the first step to meet the social demand to make renewable energy competitive among other power sources in the market. To contribute to carbon neutrality, it is essential that renewable energy becomes an independent and affordable power source in the future. By entering into a power supply contract with Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions, an aggregator, we will be able to build a pseudo FIT scheme without taking the risk of electricity price fluctuations, exhibiting an example of an FIP power generation business model.
Future Actions
Starting with this project, we will seek methods and solutions for the renewable energy power generation businesses under the FIP scheme in cooperation with solar power generation companies nationwide. We will continue to put in efforts to provide solutions to our clients that are accelerating their initiatives toward carbon neutrality.
